About

Zimbabwe · New York

This year I'm playing offense.

Last year I built a system around my health and it changed things.
So I asked myself: what else am I just letting happen?

So I built a plan. Then this.

I'm Nyasha — a data engineer based in New Jersey. Originally from Zimbabwe. I studied electrical engineering at Penn. It was hard. But it opened doors and gave me a standard I've been holding myself to since.

By day I'm an Associate at Morgan Stanley on the Encore team, working on regulatory reporting modernisation. I build systems that take complex financial data and make it reliable, traceable, and usable. Outside of work, I spend an unreasonable amount of time building in Claude Code, training for my first race, and laying the groundwork for what comes next.

I'm a product of Education Matters Africa — an organisation that provides quality education to high-achieving, low-income students in Zimbabwe. It gave me the opportunity and access to study at UPenn which changed my life trajectory forever. I still show up for them — through fundraising, support, and staying involved.

I'm not interested in short-term wins.

I care about building things that last — in my career, in my body, and in the systems I build around both.
